In the rain-soaked steampunk city of Cassiopeia, a failing power grid is the least of twelve-year-old Taran Holt’s worries. His father, a brilliant inventor, has been forced into servitude by the city’s ruthless tyrant, Gregor Staal.
When a legendary airship captain offers Taran a place on a perilous quest, a fragile hope is ignited. Their mission: to find Naymar’s Heart, a mythical artifact of immense power—the one treasure valuable enough to pay the price of his father’s freedom.
